According to the President of the College, the 46th Graduation ceremony was solely for undergraduate students with the graduation statistics not including postgraduate students whose graduation ceremony would be held in March 2023.

Touching on the current situation for graduate studies, the President expressed happiness at the rate of expansion in response to growing demand and the vision of making the University College a place of higher learning and research. This is reflected in the introduction of such programmes as the MA/MPhil in Communication Studies, MPhil in Mathematics Education and MPhil in English Education.

In addition, the Management is busy working to introduce four new demand-driven programmes in the 2023/24 academic year: MSc in Digital Marketing, MSc in Investment and Financial Risk Management, MA in Events Management and MPhil in Christian Religious Studies.

In his address as the Guest Speaker Most. Rev. Prof. Emmanuel K. Asante who is also an alumnus of the institution expressed his support for the current educational policy that places emphasis on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) is in the right direction. This is in accordance with the need to rationalize and enforce programmes offered in the country’s educational institutions to meet the demands of the economy. He observed that too much emphasis on the grammar-based education with little input for technical and vocational education does not lead to the industrial breakthrough required for development.

The Council and Management of the University expressed their pride and appreciation for the distinguished service being rendered globally by alumni of the institution and  used the opportunity to award Seven (7) prominent alumni.
