The CSUC Sports Team has begun serious preparations ahead of the 2011 private universities’ friendly games slated for July 1, at the Paa Joe Stadium at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) campus, Kumasi.
The team joins about 15 other private universities across the country to battle for honours in the annual sports event among staff of private universities, first of its kind to be held in the Ashanti Region.
The universities will rub shoulders in disciplines such as football, volley ball, table tennis, and tug of peace among others.
The Team Coach expresses happiness about the alacrity of the team, and believes his squad is well motivated to sweep most of the laurels during the competition.
The team aside the usual training sections is also undergoing a rigorous fitness exercise to improve upon its form and stamina.
