CSUC Starts Nursing Programme

CSUC has started its four-year Bachelor of Nursing programme. Applications are therefore being accepted from eligible candidates for enrolment into the nursing programme for the 2012/2013 academic year beginning mid April, 2013.

The programme is jointly accredited by the National Accreditation Board (NAB), Ghana and the Nurses and Midwives’ Council of Ghana. The two accreditations followed CSUC’s successful completion of the requirements for the running of the programme.

The programme is also affiliated to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi.

Mrs. Dorothy Awuah-Peasah, Head of Department of Nursing said, “The objective of the nursing programme is to expand the capacity of nursing students for quality delivery of health care and help meet the growing health demand in the country. This is CSUC’s contribution as a private university to support the government”.

The Nursing programme is also aimed at empowering students to operate within ethical and legal framework, and to contribute to the body of knowledge of nursing through life-long learning for professional excellence and research.
