Founder and Chairman of Group Nduom – a conglomerate of flourishing companies in Ghana and presidential aspirant of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP) Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom, has delivered a seminar to students and staff of the CSUC. The focus for the seminar was “spotting entrepreneur ideas in Africa” and it was organised by the National Union of Ghana Students – NUGS in collaboration with the Students Representative Council (SRC) of the CSUC.
“Entrepreneurship is a way of thinking which you nurture initially by working for others. I would advise every student to work for someone first on completing their studies. This is is enable you acquire the skills, discipline, principles and competence needed to begin your own enterprise later on” Dr Nduom asserted.
Dr. Nduom encouraged students to be prepared to work for a couple of companies after graduating from school, so they can acquire the knowledge and wisdom to create their own jobs later on.
Chairman of the Nduom Group advised students to develop skills and aptitudes that will benefit the society and a resilience and determination to weather the challenges confronting industry.
President of CSUC, Prof. Sam Afrane advised students to embrace the practical insight shared by Dr. Nduom.
CSUC SRC Presdident also indicated students’ elation on the programme, saying “we have been greatly inspired”.
