Mrs. Joyce Ama Quartey, Acting Head of the Department of Accounting and Finance of the CSUC School of Business has been awarded a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Finance by the University of New England, Armidale, Australia. The research specialization of Dr. Mrs. Joyce Quartey is in Microfinance. Her PhD Thesis title was on “the Effect of Regulations on Performance of Microfinance Institutions in Promoting Small Business Growth in Ghana.”
She lectures both undergraduate and postgraduate courses such as Quantitative Methods, International Finance. Dr. Quartey is currently the Head of the Department of Accounting and Finance of the CSUC School of Business. The management and staff of CSUC warmly congratulate Dr.Quartey for her achievement.
