Christian Service University College donates to Sabin Akrofrom Township.

CSUC has donated 10 refurbished computers and accessories to the people of Sabin Akrofrom to aid advancement in computer literacy. The presentation forms part of its corporate social responsibility to boost the good standing relationship of the two.

Presenting the items on behalf of the University College, the Vice President, Dr. Peter White, expressed hope that the items will enhance and sustain educational training of pupils in the area.

On behalf of the community, Nana Osei Kofi, Chief of Sabin Akrofrom commended CSUC for the gesture and mentioned to put the computers into good use to achieve the desired results. The donation was also received as “the first set of computers to motivate the start up of Sabin Akrofrom pending ICT Training Centre” and was mentioned to benefit students at all levels.

Nana Osei was happy about the fast growth of the University College in recent times. He wished that, the University grows ‘bigger and better’ so that it could in the near future extend development unto its acquired land at Sabin Akrofrom; which he believes, would go a long way to enhance the living standards of his people.

Nana Boakye Dankwah, the ‘Benkumhene’, also appealed to management of CSUC to support ‘Sabin Akrofrom Charity Foundation’ which has been established purposely to improve students’ education. He hoped that, CSUC, as a higher educational institution could extend its support through ‘scholarship offers’ to their SHS graduates who wish to further their studies.

He leveraged on his leadership to the foundation to request for at least ‘two’ of their SHS leavers to be supported in this regard.
