The Community Church of the Christian Service University College (CSUC), Kumasi has donated items worth 2,000 Ghana Cedis to King Jesus Charity Home in the Ejisu Municipality. The gesture formed part of the Church’s Social Responsibility to support needy groups.
According to the Founder and Director of the Centre, Rev. Kofi Owusu Afriyie, the gesture was an opportunity to bless the needy once more. He expressed his profound appreciation to CSUC and called for continuous support from endowed Institutions to the Charity Home.
Speaking on the theme, ‘Jesus Christ, the hope of this generation’, the Chaplain for the University College, Rev. Anthony Boateng-Agyenim affirmed that CSUC has the Godly mandate to spearhead its core value of ‘Mutual Support and Care to its widespread stakeholders.
This is about the 5th donation extended to some communities including Edwenease Rehabilitation Centre and other Orphanages in the Region since the inception of the Community Church, a home-based inter-denominational church of the University College established in 2014 with the mandate to preach Christ to the world.
