Introduction:
The Christian Service University College provides a sound Christian ethical environment for tertiary level capacity development of high calibre human resource with Christian values and principles of sustainable development and transformation of society. It also offers opportunities for research and community service, and is positioned to attract students and scholars from local and international communities.
Goal and Objectives of the Programme:
The overall goal of the programme is to produce highly qualified monitoring and evaluation (M&E) professionals to guide cost- effective and gender-responsive implementation of policies, plans, programmes, and projects in developing countries. The main objectives are:
- to develop professional capacities of graduates to practice monitoring and evaluation with integrity;
- to harmonise theory with practice in development planning, implementation and management;
- to train professionals to include M&E principles in project design, planning and management; and
- to equip professionals with in-depth knowledge to up take responsible positions such as M&E managers.
Course Delivery:
The hybrid Online and ‘Face-to-Face’ scheme provides opportunity for students to come into residence during the first week of the semester for a thorough orientation about the course modules, and hands-on practicum of the online delivery process. The venue is CSUC Kumasi Campus or designated centres of closer proximity to students (where applicable).
Thereafter lectures are delivered through online classroom interactions and periodic residential sessions at designated centres.
End of semester examinations are conducted in residence during the last week of the semester either at the CSUC campus, or at a designated centre closer to the students (where applicable).

Course Duration:
The programme duration is one year comprising taught courses for two semesters interspersed with seminar presentations and workshops. In addition, there will be guided sessions for students’ research throughout the course duration to culminate in submission of 60 – 100 pages or 15,000- 25,000 words dissertation.
Entry Requirements:
A good first Degree with substantial quantitative background from a recognised University.
Graduation Requirements:
Requirements for completing the programme are as follows:
- Students must obtain a minimum mark of 60% per taught course and a minimum overall CGPA of 2.5.
- Students may obtain a minimum of 36 credits for taught courses and six (6) credits for dissertation. A student requires a total of 45 credits to graduate.
- Students will be required to participate in seminars given by professionals and take part in field trips (study tours) approved as part of the programme.
- Students are required to pass an oral defense of their dissertation.

Registration for the August 2019 intake can be completed online (www.csuc.edu.gh), or by visiting the CSUC Kumasi Campus registry to obtain a registration form. The registration fee is ¢180 [$50 for international students].
Fees:
Total fees for the programme is ¢8,500 [$2,300 for international students]. Students can pay at least half of the fees at the beginning of the first semester, or pay by installments through special arrangements with the university.
