Year after year CSUC has a tradition of organizing suitable send off for final year students whose training in the University College has come to an end. In view of that, a farewell lunch was organized for the final year class of the 2018/19 Academic year on Friday, 31st May, 2019.
This year’s event began with a Thanksgiving and Commissioning Service at the CSUC Auditorium where students had the opportunity to listen to a message to prepare them for the world out there titled, ‘Pleasing God in the real world.’
Speaking on the core purpose for the Lunch, ‘Creating an opportunity for Alumni development and networking’, an alumna and the Special Guest for the occasion, Mrs. Beatrice Frimpong-Yamoah who is Cluster Manager of Barclays Bank, Ashanti Region, advised the leavers about how they can be successful in the world out there.
She said, having worked for 33 years at the Barclays Bank, she can only ‘inspire the leavers to be patient with ready to learn attitude, work hard with the right attitude and be faithful stewards of resources in all their endeavours.’
Meanwhile, the President of CSUC entreated the leavers to make Christ their focus and depend on him for directions during the Lunch at the Christian Village Conference Centre, Santasi, where over 200 students including Management Board of CSUC graced the occasion.
