An Academician with Over Two Decades of Experience in Taxation,
Fiscal policy and Human Resource Management
Joseph Kofi Nkuah (DBA) joins Christian Service University College
as a Senior Lecturer and a Head of Department for Management
and General Studies of the School of Business.
He has over fifteen (15) years of teaching and research experience
at the Graduate and Undergraduate Levels in the University setting.
His research interest covers Taxation and Fiscal Policy, and Human
Resource Management with several publications including 3 Authored
books and about 32 Journal Article Publications leading to his
pending Associate Professorship.
He holds a Doctorate degree in Business Administration from Atlantic University (USA), an MBA in Human Resource
Management from University of Paris, Graduate School of Management (France) and a Post Graduate Diploma in
Tax Administration from Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
In addition, Dr. Nkuah has a Graduate Diploma in Management from the International Professional Managers
Association, United Kingdom, a Diploma in Economics, United Kingdom and a Certificate in Tax Collection
from the US Department of Treasury.
He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Economist of Ghana, a Chartered Professional Administrator, Ghana,
a Licensed Member of the Professional Managers Association United Kingdom and a proud member of the
“Quarterly Franklin Members of United Kingdom” (Membership ID#BM87638).
Dr. Nkuah has served as a member Consultant for United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO)/
Ministry of Trade and Industry, Ghana, to develop policies including, Science, Technology and Innovation (STI)
for the development of STI Development Programme to drive Ghana to Middle Income Status (STIDEP) from
2011 to 2015.
He has also provided several consultancy services in Procurement Administration including the Wa Municipal
Assembly and was appointed in April 2019 by His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Ghana to serve
as a Director of the Governing Board, Ghana National Procurement Agency and a Team Member of the
National Inspectorate Division of the Ghana Education Service(GES).
Dr. Nkuah is a former Vice Dean and a Senior Lecturer in Tax Administration and Fiscal Policy at the School
of Business and Law, University for Development Studies (UDS), with leading roles in the programmes
designs and initiatives that led the School to become the best in the Northern part of Ghana.
He was also the Chairman of the Technical Team for Business Programmes for UDS Affiliations from 2015,
and a Lecturer at the Institute of Distance Learning, KNUST from 2012 to 2017.
