Rev. Dr. Peter White, a Senior Lecturer in the Theology Department of Christian Service University College (CSUC) has been appointed the Acting Dean for the Faculty of Health and Applied Sciences. Dr. White holds a PhD in Science of Religion and Missiology from the University of Pretoria, South Africa, Master of Arts in the Study of Religions, from the University of Ghana, Diploma in Christian Ministry, from Vision International College, Australia, and a certificate in Biblical Hebrew from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel.His research interests are Missiology, Science of Religion / Study of Religions, Religion and Human Rights, Islam, Leadership, Religion and Health, Pentecostalism. He has presented papers at both national and international conferences. He has a number of peer-reviewed articles in his research areas in reputable journals.Dr. White is an active member of the Southern African MissiologicalSociety.
During his Doctoral studies at the University of Pretoria, he was appointed a lecturer in the Department of Biblical and Religious Studies.He was also given a special task to assist postgraduate students in the Department of Science of Religion and Missiology, Faculty of Theology, with their research work (i.e. Research proposal, referencing style as well as assisting them on how to locate the materials and books for their research). Dr. White is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and an External Examiner in the Department of Science of Religion and Missiology, University of Pretoria, South Africa.He has also been appointed an External Examiner for the Faculty of Theology, North-West University, South Africa.
Dr. White is a reviewer for HTS Theological Studies, a peer review journal of the Faculty of Theology, University of Pretoria, and In Luce Verbia peer review journal of the North-West University, South Africa. Dr. White has been an Editorial Staff of the American Journal of Biblical Theology since 2012. Furthermore, he served as the Africa Liaison & Co-editor, for Journey News, of the Glory River Ministry, Indianapolis, USA in 2008 and 2009.
