Rev. Dr. Peter White, the acting Vice-President of the University College holds Diploma in Christian ministry from Vision International College, Australia and Master of Arts in the study of Religions from the University of Ghana, Legon. He also has a Doctor of Theology (Christian Apologetics) from Trinity Graduate School of Theology, India, certificate in Biblical Hebrew from Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel and a PhD in Science of Religion and Missiology from the University of Pretoria, South Africa.
He was a lecturer in the Department of Biblical and Religious Studies, University of Pretoria before joining CSUC.
Until he was appointed the Acting Vice-President, Dr. White served in the following capacities in the University College: Acting University College Chaplain, Head of Theology Department, Acting Dean in the Faculty of Health and Applied Sciences and Assistant University College Chaplain.
Dr. White was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow from October, 2014 to December, 2015 in the Department of Science of Religion and Missiology, University of Pretoria, South Africa. In May 2016, he was offered a three year Senior Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in the same University.
Dr. White is an External Examiner for the Department of Theology, North-West University, Mafikeng Campus, South Africa. He also doubles as an Internal Examiner for the Department of Science of Religion and Missiology, University of Pretoria, South Africa.
He is a regular reviewer for a number of peer reviewed Journals both in Ghana and internationally. Dr. White has presented papers at local and international conferences. He has 22 peer reviewed journal articles to his credit. Dr. White has worked in several administrative and pastoral positions both in the academia and in the church.
Dr. White is married to Esther White and blessed with four children (Peter, Helen, Jason and Jesse). He is a Pastor in the Christ Apostolic Church International.
