CSUC Centre for Research and Business Development

The Centre for Research and Business Development (CRBD) is a re-designated office from Business Development Centre established in September 2016. CRBD is the directorate for collaborative research, training and capacity building as well as consultancy services and funds-mobilization in partnership with, and assistance to other organizations and communities.

The Centre can boast of highly skilled consultants with global experience who have rendered consultancy services in poverty alleviation, food security, Agriculture/Agri-business, health and education, Institution capacity development and urban infrastructure to MMDAs, MDAs, UN bodies, international and local organizations/agencies among others.
CRBD seeks to nurture long term mutually beneficial relationships through local and international collaborations with its numerous stakeholders such as students, organizations and communities at all levels which includes:

  • Internship and job placement for CSUC students;
  • Mounting of short courses with academic departments;
  • Active fund-raising activities to meet targets set;
  • Entrepreneurship development for all stakeholders;
  • Career fairs and training programmes for CSUC students;

The Centre largely seeks to enhance the socio-economic transformation of its stakeholder- community through contract research and development of projects.
