The University College made the donation during the 16th Annual Synod of the Effiduasi Diocese of the Methodist Church Ghana at Juaben Ashanti on the theme, “Witnessing to Christ Today: Mobilizing Our Individual Resources for the Development of the Ministry”.
CSUC also presented a cash donation of GH¢200 to support the Synod as a demonstration of goodwill and solidarity with the Methodist Church Ghana.
The Ag. President of CSUC, Dr. Samuel B. Adubofuor, in a speech expressed his appreciation to the Methodist Church Ghana for the continuing recognition of CSUC by the Church as an alternative institution for theological education of Methodist ministers, most of whom are superintendent ministers.
Dr. Adubofuor stated that the aim of CSUC as a Christian university was to train graduates and Christian workers who in serving Christ and society will exhibit spiritual maturity, moral integrity and professional competence.
He said CSUC will soon start a master’s programme in Christian Ministry with Management, and entreated the Methodist ministers to take advantage of the opportunity to build their ministerial capacities.
