Christian Service University College has held its fourth matriculation ceremony for the January and Weekend stream of students of the 2015/2016 academic year.
The speaker for the occasion and president of CSUC, Prof. Sam Afrane advised the matriculants to take their studies seriously and avoid distractive tendencies that could jeopardise their academic vision.
Prof Afrane encouraged the matriculants to use their time well by investing their time, energies and resources on activities that can help them reach their goals in life.
“At CSUC, we educate not only the head but also the heart” Prof Afrane added.
He also advised them to take advantage of the holistic education CSUC offers and nurture a sound relationship with God.
The Ag. Registrar Mrs. Cecilia Boakye Botwe together with the University College Chaplain Rev. Dr. Mrs. Margaret Asabea Aboagye later presented the matriculants each with a Holy Bible. The Chaplain exhorted the students to use the Bibles as the manual for their lives.
Daniel K. Osei, a level 100 matriculant of the Department of Communication Studies and a music producer by profession, said he was touched by the solemnity of the ceremony and he was happy to be back in school.
