The Centre for Research and Business Development of the Christian Service University College,
has completed another initiative leading to the signing of a memorandum of understanding with
AIDAC Consult to jointly run four (4) professional courses.
This is the second MOU that has been sealed with different organisations in two months, through the
initiative of the Centre, on behalf of CSUC.
Engagements between the Centre and AIDAC Consult to formalise relations lasted five months with
initial discussions starting in June 2019. Already, accreditation from the relevant professional bodies
have been secured for the courses, and interested students can already apply for
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) – UK
- Advanced Diploma in Taxation – UK
- Chartered Institute of Bankers – Ghana
- Institute of Chartered Accountants – Ghana
The introduction of these courses brings to five (5) the number of professional bodies whose courses
are being run at Christian Service University College, in addition to the regular diploma, bachelor’s
and master’s degree programmes of the Institution. CSUC already runs professional courses with
accreditation from the Institute of Commercial Management – UK.
The recent drive to reach out to organisations is part of the Centre’s strategy to build partnerships
that inure to the mutual benefit of the institutions involved.
According to David Kwao-Sarbah, Assistant Director of the Centre, the strategic objective of such
symbiotic relations is to expand the University’s operational reach and position the University in
terms of visibility and revenue mobilisation in accordance with the vision to empower people to
impact the world.
It would be recalled that through the initiative of the Centre, an MOU was signed with the Ghana Robotics
Academy Foundation (GRAF) in October 2019, for collaboration to boost robotics education in Ghana.
The current MOU with AIDAC Consult was signed by Prof Sam Afrane as CSUC President, whilst Mr Daniel
Appiah-Kubi appended his signature as Consultant for AIDAC.
