Message from the Dean

Welcome to the Faculty of Health and Applied Sciences (FHAS). The FHAS is envisioned as a growing faculty, quantitatively and qualitatively- in staff strength and student numbers, and programmes. The overarching mission of FHAS is to produce high-level ethical professionals and practitioners with the requisite knowledge, attitudes, skills, and entrepreneurial capabilities to transform the health, science and technology sectors of society within the confines of strong grounding in Biblical Teachings.

The Faculty is made up of five departments: three established departments including the Department of Nursing, Department of Computer Science and the Department of Information Technology (IT) and;  two infant departments which have currently taken off including the Departments of Physician Assistantship Studies and Midwifery.

FHAS offers outstanding undergraduate programmes of national and international standard such as BSc. Nursing, BSc. Computer Science, and BSc. Information Technology and BSc. Physician Assistantship Studies and BSc. Midwifery. Each programme incorporates cutting-edge research, in-class discussions, hands-on assignments, and seminars that will help you to acquire the requisite knowledge in your chosen discipline.

The Faculty has qualified, dedicated staff and the state-of-the-art facilities to ensure high academic achievement together with balanced spiritual and social lives that will enhance the quality of your undergraduate experience and prepare you for your career. It also has  credible affiliation with other established clinical Institutions to offer the requisite exposure for clinical skills and competence in the respective programmes.
