GIST OF MISSIONS 2018

‘Missions, which is God’s heartbeat is, making a deliberate and passionate efforts to reach out
to people with the saving knowledge of the gospel of Jesus Christ for the salvation of souls’, a
statement by the Chaplain of the Christian Service University College (CSUC). According to the
Minister of God, Missions is geared towards ‘the quickening and revival’ of the believer to live a
more Christ-like life.

He notes that, mission is a vocation, a ministry and service to stewardship and must be
undertaken as an everyday affair.

The theme for the Missions 2018 is, ANY HOPE?

This moral venture is in line with the CSUC motto “TO KNOW CHRIST BETTER AND TO
MAKE HIM BETTER KNOWN”, and sits at the pillar of its core values, the LORDSHIP OF
JESUS CHRIST.

It is celebrated every 4years to bring Christ who is the ‘Hope of Glory’, to students, staff and the
wider community.

Focus for this year’s celebration is to establish a non-denominational ‘CSUC Local Community
Church’ on Campus that could serve as a centre for worship for CSUC and its environs.
