Christian Service University College accredited by the National Accreditation Board, Ghana, invites applications
from suitable qualified candidates for the following positions:

1. VICE-PRESIDENT

Responsibilities:

• Oversee academic planning, programme review, and curriculum development.
• Supervise the deans of the schools and faculties and the director of library, evaluating and approving
  recommendations for President’s approval.
• Liaise with the National Accreditation Board on new programmes/ re-accreditation of the University College
  and its programmes.
• Maintain liaison with affiliates of the University College on academic performance and further develop strategic
  partnership that will bring lasting value and networks to enhance teaching and research.
• Provide leadership in creating and maintaining academic standards and policies in the University College.

Minimum Qualification and Personal Qualities:

• Proven strong strategic leadership track record.
• Must be at least a Senior Lecturer’s status with a PhD. Professorial status will be an advantage.
• Must have at least ten (10) years working experience in a tertiary institutions or academic related institution
  of which five (5) years should have been in leadership position.
• Must have credible scholarly credentials in teaching, research and publication.
• Must exhibit high sense of work ethics and diligence.
• Must have proven capacity to motivate and inspire staff and students

 

2. Senior Lecturers/Professors

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for appointment as Senior Lectures/Professors to the following
Departments:

• Nursing (General & Midwifery Specializations)
• Accounting and Finance
• Communications
• Computer Science
• Physician Assistantship Studies

 Responsibilities:

• Provide academic instruction to students in courses assigned.
• Undertake research/publication in areas of academic interest.
• Undertake effective assessment of students academic performance.
• Supervise student research.
• Serve as a mentor/counselor to students.

Personal Qualities:

• Must have credible scholarly credentials in teaching, research and publication.
• Must exhibit high sense of work ethics and diligence.
• Must have proven capacity to motivate and inspire staff and students

Minimum Qualifications:

• A Candidate should be a Senior Lecturer/Professor in the related discipline and must hold a PhD.
• Candidates applying for Nursing must have an active Pin number of the Nurses and Midwives Council of Ghana.
• Must have considerable number of years of teaching/research experience at a University or comparable institution.
