Matriculation – Maiden January Admissions

CSUC organized a matriculation ceremony to officially admit students of its January admissions programme, as well as theology sandwich students on February 22, 2014. Out of the 122 students, 68 were males and 54 females.

They were offered admissions to pursue degree programmes in Business Administration, Communication Studies, Theology (Sandwich) and Computer Science.

Speaking on the theme, “CSUC at 40            Years and Growing: Renewing Our Identity”, Prof. (Mrs.) Frances Owusu-Daaku, President of CSUC described the newly-admitted students as a special group because they constituted the pioneers of the January admissions programme which has both weekend and regular components. The President congratulated and advised them to manage their time effectively as they juggle the demands of school and family life.

Mr. Asuamah Adade-Yeboah, Dean of Students said, in addition to academic excellence, CSUC would also impart values of integrity to the students to make them better persons in society.

Mrs. Cecilia Boakye Botwe, Senior Assistant Registrar, Academic and Student Affairs administered the matriculation oath to the students. She was assisted by Dr. Samuel B. Adubofuor, Dean of Faculty of Humanities; Rev. Prof. Samuel N. Boapeah, Dean of CSUC School of Business; and Dr. Thomas Yeboah, Head of Department of Computer Science.

The January programme runs on part-time basis on Friday evenings and Saturdays for the Weekend School designed for working professionals; and morning sessions for the ‘regular’ full-time intake. August/September admissions for the 2014/2015 academic year have begun and details can be found on the admissions portal.
