- Applicants must attain 25 years or above, and should be able to provide evidence either by birth certificate, passport,
driver’s licence etc which is recognized in Ghana.
All mature applicants should:
- Download, Print and Complete the online Access Application Form
- The Access Course application form is not for sale.
- The Completed Access Course Application form must be submitted to the Office of the Registrar, CSUC.
- Applicants will undertake an access course programme after which they would be examined on 3 subjects namely: English Language, Mathematics and Information Technology.
- Successful candidates who pass the access course examination will then proceed to purchase the CSUC e-Voucher from any of the sale points.
- Applicants will then complete their admission application via our online platform (http://admission.csuc.edu.gh)
using the purchased e-Voucher.

Details of the Revised Mature Entrance Programme Courses
- Mathematics

Duration of the programme
- 6 Weeks including examinations
Lecture Periods
- Fridays – 3 Hours
- Saturdays – 6 hours
Method for teaching and learning
- Modular method would be used for teaching and learning. The advantage of this approach is that students
can join any of the modules until the person meet the requirements for admission. - No student would be allowed to join a modular class after two weeks of teaching period. The student should be advised to
join the next module. - Those with trailed modules can join any available modular examination for re-sit of the trailed module. Such students
are required to re-register for the trailed module at a cost of Ghc 50.00

Fees and payment plan
- Each student is required to pay – GH¢360.00
- All monies shall be paid to the Cash Office as enshrined in the financial regulations of the University College
Payment Plan is as follows:
- 1st Instalment – GH¢100.00 (Before the start of 1st Module)
- 2nd Instalment – GH¢100.00 (Before the start of 2nd Module)
- 3rd Instalment – GH¢100.00 (Before the start of 3rd Module)
Certification
Proficiency Certificate would be awarded to those who have met the requirements for the programme at a minimal fee.
TOP-UP APPLICANTS
NB: Holders of HND, ABCE, GCE ‘O’ & A’ levels from accredited institutions may also enroll in the Access course.
Upon successful completion, they may be considered for a higher placement i.e. L200 or L300 in the four year degree programme.
