NAMSA-CSUC IS BACK!

The Nursing and Midwifery Students Association (NAMSA) of the Christian Service University College has been revived after years of inactiveness. The august body which is an appendage of the Students Representative Council has been rejuvenated to offer academic, psychosocial, and professional support for members. The rejuvenation of the association became particularly pertinent owing to the fact that the nursing and midwifery population on campus was growing exponentially within the last academic year. The growth has had its attendant challenges hence the move to mitigate some of them. The association aims to support its members in the following areas:

  1. Offer academic support services for resit students
  2. Institute annual best student award schemes
  3. Offer tutorials and skills training
  4. Nursing and Midwifery Council licensure support
  5. Create entrepreneurship opportunities
  6. Provide health support services
  7. Organize entertainment programmes
  8. Acquire a bus to augment the current transport system of the University College.
