A three day evangelical outreach programme dubbed ‘Operation Crossroads: Redemption through his blood,’ has began at the premises of the Christian Service University College (CSUC). The programme, which is held annually in the first semester of every academic year, is a prelude to the main missions programme of the CSUC organised in the second semester by the Chaplaincy Board.
Launching the mini missions programme, Prof. Stephen Owusu, Vice President of CSUC, stressed that the outreach programme is a vital part of the CSUC’s core mandate of “to know Christ better and to make him better known. ” He explained that as a Christian university, the CSUC endeavours to evangelise through such programmes to both students and staff.
Apostle Stephen Owusu, an alumni, travelling secretary of the Scripture Union and main speaker for the event, urged staff and students to embrace their complete identity as people made in God’s image and not fall prey to the enemy’s strategies.
Apostle Owusu exhorted the audience to be reconciled to God through Jesus Christ and receive the salvation that Jesus freely gives.
The well-attended programme is expected to continue today through to tomorrow.
