From 1st – 4th November 2014, the President of CSUC participated in the International Association of Christian Higher Education (IAPCHE) Asia-Oceania College/University Partnership Conference at the d’Village resort in Melaka, Malaysia. It was a 20-hour journey from Accra to Melaka, but it was worth it.
The main thrust of the conference was to enable participants get to know other Christian institutions, plan, and establish partnerships that could lead to dual degree programmes, international student admissions and exchange, international student volunteering, faculty exchange, international visits of students for exposure and study, facilitating and promoting research and publications, resource sharing, organizing international conferences and other related ventures
The conference accorded the President exactly this opportunity to interact with various Heads of Christian Higher Education (CHE), not only in Asia and Oceania, but in the UK, USA and Canada. It is expected that a follow-up of this meeting will result in great benefits to CSUC
The trip was co-sponsored by IAPCHE and CSUC.
