CSUC has commended Prof. Emmanuel Frempong, immediate past President of the University College for his hard work, utmost dedication and unique contributions to the institution.
A citation presented to Prof. Frempong during the induction ceremony of Prof. (Mrs.) Frances Owusu-Daaku (CSUC’s new President), acknowledged the distinguished service, visionary leadership and guidance that the former President provided during his tenure of office.
“You accepted the call to become Christian Service University’s third President in 2007, during CSUC’s transition into a University College. Your tenure saw significant improvement in the University College’s infrastructure and the pursuit of global partnerships. Your collaboration with the Board of Trustees, the Council, Management and staff, during this period, led to the development of CSUC’s Information and Communication Technology (ICT) infrastructure and services; the expansion of undergraduate programmes, and the start of a master’s degree programme in Christian Ministry with Management – CSUC’s first post graduate programme. You also contributed to promoting the spiritual life and vitality of the CSUC community,” the citation said in part.
Prof. Frempong served as CSUC President from 2007 to 2012.
